New Make Up Haul: Part 1

Yes that’s right: Part 1….

So my brother bought me a MAC voucher at xmas and I totally forgot about it. I used it as an excuse to buy some new goodies from MAC thinking id only pick up a few things…it didn’t really go plan lol.

I bumped into an old friend who works for MAC in Fenwicks Newcastle and she showcased all the new goodies they had in stock and I was sold!

She also helps me with my contouring problem! lately I’ve found that after a couple of hours my make up falls off ( which is natural) but I’m left with a dark on my cheek and I’ve learnt that it’s because I use a cream contour on top of my cream foundation. So I’ve decided to use powder to contour and findings it FAB! Looks more natural too! I’ll post some new make up photos soon.

Here what I picked up…..

  1. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer

This is an old favourite of mine. Its long lasting, affordable and a little goes a long way. I love that range of colours MAC supply for different skin tones. The concealer is not too think and with a power applied on op can last all day.

2. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish

This powder is soooo soft! It’s a dream to apply. I picked this up in medium and pop this over my foundation and concealer for a lasting and natural look all day. Again this comes in lots of shades. I love the mineralize range from MAC. I find this range is not too heavy like the other products can be from MAC.

3. MAC Mineralize Skinfinsh : Medium Dark

YUP! same thing. This shade is Medium Dark and provided a really good contrast as a bronzer to contour. It’s not too dark but if I wanted something more dramatic is could go a shade darker. This is great for your everyday contour to add a bit of colour to your base even. And again, sooo soft!

3. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish: LIGHTSCAPADE

I couldn’t pick up a powder and bronzer and NOT a highlight! This is new in and is beautiful not only to look at but gorgeous on too! The different specks of colour come together to brighten your highlight with a silvery glow. Not as heavy as soft and Glow but just as beautiful.

4. MAC Eye Shadow: Sushi Flower and Sketch

I’ve been looking for a good pink eyeshadow and really struggles to find one that is as good on the eye as well as in the pot. The sushi Flower pink is great for a transition colour and neon pink is SO “in” at the moment. I also picked up Sketch as it has tiny specks of glitter and brightness up the eyes with blended with Sushi follower in the crease.

5. MAC Pigment: Vanilla

I had to pick this up because….well its a MUST have! Everyone has this apart from me until now. I haven’t used this yet but I will for a night time look to highlight inner corners and brow bone. Isn’t it beautiful!

6. MAC Extended Play Gigiblack Lash

I spoke to my friend about how much I HATE my lashes. There are so small and dinky! ( like me a suppose) but I want what every girl does and long beautiful lashes. She recommended this mascara as its brush is small and easy to get into my lashes. I have used this and its really good especially for the bottom lashes and the blacker then black really helps then to stand out if your using it alone.

7. MAC Lipgloss Viva Glam Ariana Grande

Sooooo pretty! The tiny bottle of glitter make me feel 100% sparklier when its on. It goes on clear and perfect to add to any shade of lippy or wear on its own if you like. I don’t think this is meant to smell like anything but I just LOVE the smell of this haha I could eat it.

8.Bourjois: Air Mat/ L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist and 24hr Matte Foundation

No..Not MAC ha! I thought id pick up these everyday goodies and give them a try. I haven’t tried the Bourjois foundation of L’Oréal fixing spray but I have tried the 24hr matte foundation and its AMAZING! Go ahead, read the reviews on this beauty cause they are all true! For the price as well you cannot go wrong. I wear this together with my powders above and got great comments and its truly did last all day.

Well that was exhausting! Part 2 is coming up soon  and I’ll let you know how the products are that I haven’t tested yet.

Bye for now! Gx
