Are you tired of the same old holiday routine?
Budget, save, buy the hotel, the flights, spend two weeks in a nice place and come home. I bet you are and that’s why you should think about doing something different this summer. There are lots of ways to make your holiday a little more unique and memorable, and I have some great ideas that you are definitely going to love.
The Extended Road Trip
So, rather than slotting two weeks in your busy schedule for your holiday, how about heading away for two or three months? You can do this if you take a road trip and make sure you can pay your way as you stay. The fact is that there are lots of jobs that you complete on the road that will allow you to extend your travel plans to the point where you don’t have to worry about squeezing everything into just two weeks.
If you want a great idea for this holiday, you could plan a road trip across America. Start in New York and head across the country until you reach the other side. You can spend 90 days in America before your holiday visa runs out and there’s no restrictions on traveling across the states. Just make sure you don’t accidentally head into Mexico or Canada. They might not let you back!
London To New York
Okay, there’s a lot of cruises out there for you to look into but this has to be one of the coolest. You can travel from the UK to America by boat and it takes roughly twelve days. Loveitbookit tv cruises and similar companies have offers like this available right now. It’s a little shorter than your typical holiday. But during that time, you can visit NYC for two days, then get a flight back and everything included.
These days cruise ships are basically floating hotels with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a vacay including a luxury olympic sized pool!
Work A Little For A Lot Of Rewards
Or alternatively you can think about giving a little back on your next vacation, completing some charity work. You can head to Africa where you’ll be able to help them preserve and protect the animals in the nature reserve. Or maybe, travel to Fiji, building houses through the week and exploring a tropical paradise on your free days. There are lots of companies that will arrange exciting possibilities like this for you and they are usually considerably cheaper compared to your typical holiday. When you return home, you’ll also have the added benefit of knowing you’ve done something wonderful for the world.
Or finally, you can play the fun game of deciding to hop on the first plane leaving when you get to the airport. Granted with all the visas you need to travel these days, it’s slightly more difficult to do this, but there are ways to make sure you are eligible to travel, even if you don’t know where you’re going. This is a great chance to explore somewhere you never would have planned to visit.
Do any of these ideas excite you? Then don’t wait and book a holiday that’s outside of the norm this year.
