If your going to go anywhere this summer, it should be Ramside Spa.
I felt like the luckiest girl to be took here for my birthday and couldn’t think of a better way to spend quality time with my family yet strangely enough have some ME time at the same time.
Ramside Spa is part of the Ramside Hall estate that offers a 4 * Luxury hotel, spa and golf based in the North East of England. The spa offers indulgence and in my opinion is one of the best in the UK.
The spa was officially opened in 2016 and offers a place to breathe, relax and revitalise your body and mind.
We visited the spa with the Wake up & Spa package. he spa building is separate from the Hotel and situated next to the gold course which is ideal for families of couples who are going to golf and their other half can relax. Within the spa building itself is the Fusion Restaurant. Within our package we sampled the restaurant for brunch.
The Fusion restaurant offers a Thai feel offering pan Asian food however for the brunch menu you don’t really get the chance to explore that as its a set menu. The Brunch menu was varied however, we had fruit platters to share then a choice of either croissant, granola or toast with added extras of course. THEN if you thought you couldn’t eat anymore you chose from a larger menu of cooked breakfasts including eggs benedict which I had. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. The restaurant has a very calm, exotic feel about it and I was made to feel relaxed before I even entered the spa.

The service was impeccable throughout the whole day from the restaurant staff on into the Spa. The reception showed us a map of the place and explained how our day was going to go. You get given wristbands to gain entry and told the facilities so we could make the most out of our day.
The changing rooms were clean with regular clean towels and slippers provided. It’s a small thing but I also want to mention the showers and shampoo/conditioner/body wash was amazing. The brands they use are high quality and left me with the scent of a spa all day long.
The spa has so much to offer and that is what makes Ramside Spa stand out from the rest. The standard package is a little bit of luxury for all yet they still manage to offer extras for those extra special times.
The spa is set out on the ground floor with 2 rooms. The first room offers a full size 25 metre pool with Jacuzzi, sunk in sauna and Steam room.
Around the pool are lounges and cabins that you can hide away from the world in and relax.

Hydropool
The second room offers the largest hydropool I have ever seen with massage jets and swan necks. The pool has lounge and a drinks station and addition 2 extra saunas. A herbal sauna and salt steam room.
From here you can access the outdoor pool and what A day we had picked! The outdoor pool is heated and set in the beautiful gardens with loungers around. I made my bed for the day outside to enjoy the amazing sunshine. That day and truly felt as though I was lying in Spain!
The whole morning was amazing! I wanted to stay longer however you can only gain access by a package or membership. They also offer twilight packages. At first I thought it was too expensive. Having visited other spa’s in the area it is very well priced. It’s a modern spa with something to offer for everyone and big enough that you can wonder off if your in a group for some alone time or get together and enjoy the experience together.
Check out their website for other packages and see if you can grab a special offer! http://www.ramsidespa.co.uk/
Oh it looks really lovely. I’ve not been but it reminds me of Seaham Hall which I love, especially with the Asian fusion menu. I love that they have an outdoor pool. I’ll be sure to check that out.
