The Fit Mumma Update

WOW! The weeks are going so fast!

My journey with The Fit Mumma is now 6 weeks in and a feeling such a difference with energy levels and in my clothes.

I’ve had a few things in my wardrobe that were too tight or were uncomfortable to wear that I can wear with confidence now.

I know this journey was not a quick fix and its taking me a while to loose weight but its coming off in the right place and my body is doing all the right things it should be.

The main things with my journey that I am the most impressed with is how non restricting it is on my diet. I still need to inject more exercise but as far as my diet is concerned I’m not going hungry or without and my planning is getting easier and easier and that’s the key!

One week I mentioned that Sonya took me into the kitchen to show me the fat and sugar content in my old eating habits that week was key to me not going back. You can see by the pics, that is what my liver had to contend with on a daily basis.

For me this is shocking now, the stress it put on my body to digest is terrible and for long term I’m so glad I took this journey to prevent more complications with my body.

Over the past few weeks we’ve had a few sessions focusing on why I am here and the reasons I started this journey. It’s not always easy to say no to cakes being brought in the office or going out to dinner or your bf saying I cba to cook lets get a takeaway, but at those times you need to remind yourself why you are doing this and what is important.

Last week we spoke about food, I mean how can it better any better than that! we spoke about how I’m not too confident at cooking and trying new ingredients although I am getting better. This week the aim was for me to get into the kitchen and just go for it! Well so far so good, I made am amazing beef biryani that I’m mega proud of. Maybe need to work on presentation but its the taste that counts! lol

I wanna say again that I LOVE how personalised my plan is, I really feel as thought I’m being listened to and my knowledge has grown so much. I’m so glad I took this journey and feeling really positive about a healthier future!

      Having more energy is amazing, I feel like a nw person, I know I have a lot further to go but the results are worth it and can only get better!
