Beauty is at most a cultural inconstant, and there is no such thing as objective valuable beauty across the globe. Nonetheless, most social beings want to be beautiful to some degree or another. Some might want it a little bit more, and others less, but the desire to look good is probably always going to be a big part of surviving within any society. Fortunately, there is always plenty that you can do to look more beautiful – although it is also important to remember that this very fact is also a cause for concern. Ultimately, the quest for beauty is endless, and if you are not careful you might end up constantly seeking it, never feeling happy with yourself. How can we expect to draw a balance here?

Basic Care & Health

First of all, the kind of natural beauty that tends to impress and amaze others is usually more to do with managing to look after yourself than anything else. It doesn’t matter what shape face or body you have, or how symmetrical or not you might be – if you take care of yourself in the normal, healthy ways, you are likely to appear more beautiful. This means you should focus on eating right, getting a good amount of exercise, and just generally taking care of your body. But at the same time, you need to take care of your mind. Psychological health is directly linked to physical health, just as internal beauty is often a foreshadowing of external beauty. Your body and mind are one machine – look after it.

Extreme Measures

Some people sometimes feel it is necessary to do a little bit more in order to look the way that they would like to look. What actions they might carry out can vary dramatically, but there are certain things which many people would consider extreme. Something like plastic surgery is what springs to mind. Many people would avoid this, but there are a lot of people who find value in it, and who’s to say what’s right or wrong? If you do decide that this is a necessary measure to take, you will want to avoid cosmetic surgery negligence by ensuring that you find the best possible surgeon you can. That way, you can at least minimize the damage and get the most out of the situation you can.

Self-Love & Inside Beauty

It might sound like a cliche, but the idea of the inside being what count is absolutely still true. We all know this deep down, and yet it can be difficult to fully accept. This is probably largely a cultural thing, and so the challenge is for us to manage to look past this so that we can see what true internal beauty is instead. Ultimately, if you are able to love yourself, you should find that you feel beautiful on the inside. This will then spread to your external looks, and others will feel the difference. This is the most important step of all, and it is often the most difficult to pull off.

The most beautiful people I know are the one who embrace themselves for everything they are and being proud of themselves regardless of cultural/society’s standards of beauty.
I think someone that focuses on spreading love, happiness and kindness exude beauty too.
