My hair and skin always drastically changes in the autumn and winter. It’s a constant challenge trying to keep on top of the trends but the one thing that we can all share is VOLUME.

My hair can often feel flat and dull coming into the winter months and I’m always looking for the best products to use.

In the past I’ve always stuck to just backcombing my hair as volume shampoos have never really worked…until I tried the John Frieda Volume collection.

The Luxurious Volume collection promises to leave your naturally fuller and thicker looking. I love how the products are non sticky and extremely lightweight. I thin that’s why its working so well on my hair, in the past its always been too heavy causing my hair to do the opposite effect.

John Frieda are experts in creating the best products for hair since 1989 and this collection is no different.

In Shower treatment

In addition to the shampoo and condition I’ve also been using the 7 day volume in-shower treatment.  The effect last up to 7 days, specifically you do not use this for 7 days so although it looks small it does last a lot longer. You apply every 2-3 days, for me that’s how often I wash my hair anyway so it works well.

This serum thickens the fibres in your hair and is a semi permanent treatment. You can use this on its own but if you want a BIG volume look, you can still apply products afterwards.

For me, the treatment alone is mega impressive, that you can buy this in store and get salon results is amazing!

The shampoo and conditioners are £6.99 each and the treatment only £9.99 but if you time it right you can get 3 for 2 at Boots!

I tried some samples from John Frieda’s anti frizz shampoo and conditioner and they were actually nice,my hair seemed more soft after using them.
