More and more brands are now selling Wide Fit shoes. Its refreshing to see you can easily find a pair of wide fit shoes on the high street compared to a couple of years ago. I still struggle to find Wide Fit shoes especially online as I always need to try them on.
For me, the major problem is the size. For Petite and Plus size woman it can be hard to get smaller fitting Wide Fit shoes. Boots are much easier to buy which is why this time of year is great!
I’ve decided to bring you a list o places tried and tested by myself with size 3 Wide Feet.
Wide Fit Retailers
Marks and Spencer
They have a great selection of comfortable wide fit shoes all year round. And they are not ALL for older woman either. I used to be put off thinking they wouldn’t have stylish shoes in but I was wrong. I picked up these espadrilles which came is so many colours for only £20. They are mega comfortable and lasted me all summer, they are still in such good condition ill be wearing them next summer too!
New Look have been dominating the high street with their shoes. They not only do Wide Fit but also do a range of comfort Wide Fit shoes too! And I will say I’ve noticed that section getting larger and larger and the choice is great now. New Look are always so affordable and when you pay more you get even better quality. I love the range of party shoes, flats and boots.
Primark often gets overlooked yet so many people shop here. certainly the most value for money however may not last as long as you’d hope. especially for the winter but for some cheap last minute shoes or even for night’s out only you simply cannot go wrong. I’m really loving their embroidered boot collection and fluffy shows. Very sex in the city!
I’ve shopped here for years…they have a great range however I will say, I do not think it is that big. I feel the Dorothy Perkins give you a classic shoes rather than glitzy or glam boots. but if you looking for a perfect patent shoe then they are good. Great prices and quality too. I picked up these wide ftt boots. I bought both black and grey only because they were cheap. Dorothy Perkins often have discounts. They are stretchy and that’s why they fit around my calves.
I struggle with boots that only say Wide Fit as they often are not big enough for my calves. Having small feet and being short can often mean that the shape of the boot does not fit well around calves but if you aim for stretch material you can often find it will fit.
