Glamglow Domination

It’s safe to say that Glamglow has been dominating the skincare industry since they launches their facemasks.

I’m obsessed by them, got a brand new one to talk about but first I wanted to bring you my review on their recently launched moisturiser.

Glamglo moisturiser

Now available to buy at Boots, Glamglow have launched their first moisturiser Glamglow Glamstarter: Mega Illuminating Moisturiser.

As always the packaging on all products are great quality. You get 50g worth of product and this has lasted me 5 months and I’m still going. the packaging is simple, effective and you can see which shade you buy as the colour of the star on top matches the colour of the cream.

They have launched 3 shades, Nude, Pearl and Sunkissed. essentially you could call it a tinted moisturiser. OR can you? Some use it as a highlighter too! It truly is am versatile product and for that reason I’m not 100% I LOVE it.

the moisturiser itself is fab! packed with hyaluronic acid, vitamins and green tea it instantly makes your skin look brighter and more hydrated. which is perfect for my combination/dry skin.

The cream has a very strong fragrant smell. It’s very hard to describe but some other reviews have described as vanilla and summer. to me, it smells like a suntan lotion designed to smell sweet and nice. As I said, it is very strong. I’m not sure this has any impact on the product itself however my guess is that it does and therefore if you have sensitive skin you may want to avoid this. I think the smell you either love or hate. I’m not too fussy about it.

The cream has added illuminating pearls to give a sunkissed glow not matter what skin type you have, all 3 shades should help provide the added glow to your skin. It doesn’t matter if you wear it alone or under a foundation. it contains light reflecting particles so you can catch any light and not have to worry about the light in THAT selfie.

I have the NUDE one and it has added a shimmery look to my skin rather than glowing. I have then used primer as I ordinarily would before foundation however it was too much. When I’m going out on an evening I wont wear this however during the day on the go its great.

Final Opinion

The cost is £36.00 which in my personal opinion is too much. I was not wowed by this product however would wear it during the summer months. In terms of hydration I have found better performing products that I would much rather repurchase. I think £36.00 is a lot to pay for a moisturiser however as an added little disclaimer. All skins are different so if it works for you then fab. I would avoid this if you have extra dry skin or sensitive skin.

GlamGlow have really made waves in the beauty world recently, but I’ve never actually tried any of their products! The price is a little out of my budget, but I really would love to give something of theirs a go one day.

I haven’t tried anything from GlamGlow as I think they are a little too pricey, and I’d be worried I’d hate it! Maybe in the future, I’ll try something…
