Last Week I joined other OPR, press, and bloggers at Slaley Hall for their Summer Soiree and what a night!
The weather couldn’t have been better and the sunset was amazing! It was an intimate event which was fab and everyone was tucking into the nibbles and prosecco! The event held by OPR was held on the terrace outside and was set up to show how the weddings would be held. To make it even more real holly their resident was there. She sang the whole night for us into the sunset and she was amazing!
I felt like a guest at a wedding. I joined other bloggers Pixie, Melissa and Rebecca to sample the canapes an drinks. The showcased some of the canapes you would have on your big day. The mini shepherd’s pie was my fave!
In the heart of Northumberland, there really is no better wedding venue. They offer loads of packages and there will be something to meet your wedding needs. Not to mention over 100 acres of gorgeous grounds.
We made our way from the terrace to the Japanese gardens for the rest of the evening. Here we were joined by the guys at Durham Distillery. We were given fruity cocktails with their classic gin to drink for the evening and they went down a treat! I was mega impressed with their fresh cordial. Yes, I’m not a gin fam but they have something for everyone!
The Japanese gardens were perfect for the press event of the bespoke men’s designer Duka Ata. He was joined by some rather gorgeous men showcasing his suits and I was not going to complain about that!
It is safe to say, Duke is the most swarve and stylish men’s designer I have ever met. I appreciate men, like women, have a style. Certainly, his is something that I’m so excited about for the North East!
For those interested in working with him he will send his private chauffeur to pick to you to deliver you to his clubhouse. You will talk about your style and what you’re looking for and he will create almost anything you are looking for. We mean canes, capes, suits and all.
Therefore, slayley hall has so much to offer not just for a fabulous wedding venue but for any event or gathering or even a girly spa weekend which is my list of things to do!
