Tip 1: Try Wuka Pants
WUKA period pants have so far won 2 awards for Best Innovation Entrepreneur 2018 and Best New Business Award. With the idea of being sustainable and eco-friendly, the knickers allow you to replace sanitary products with comfort. The WUKA knickers can hold at least up to 20 ml of flow and up to 4-6 hours on a heavy period. Longer if it’s lighter.

Wuka Period Pants go from a size 4 to a size 20.
Tip 2: Relax
This sounds simple, right? It’s actually really hard for me. What I mean by this is that a couple of days before my period, I can usually tell by signals from my body.
But in the past, I would keep busy and I do live a busy life. But when I try and relax a couple of days beforehand I am more prepared and I feel more comfortable with my period. For example, I’ll try not to drink too much alcohol or do any heavy exercise because It Does not make me feel better.
Tip 3: Book time off
Ok, So I know we can’t actually book time off to have a period. But, you can cancel plans and put yourself first. I tend to always put others first and attend events or personal things when I’m in pain. And I have had so many accidents in public because I’m too heavy and haven’t found a toilet in time to change. Sounds silly, but when your flow is so heavy at times it cannot be helped.

I’m certainly not saying cancel your life. But if you’re like me and at times can go months without a period then it may be worth doing what I do. As always there are my opinions and How I manage with things. I’m always looking for things to help me, so if you have any tips please let me know!
The pants sound really great xx
I’m all for booking me time when it’s that time of the month!x
