As an avid theatre lover, I have to admit that I’ve never actually seen Fame on stage.

I’ve seen the movie over, and over again and addicted to the soundtrack but what does the stage show have to offer? Here until the 13th of April, I went along to have a little boogie and sing along.
In it’s 30th Anniversary tour, the cast of Fame includes Hollyoaks famous Jorgie Porter, who I must say performed amazingly. Her dancing skills are unquestionable as you may have seen on her TV skills on Dancing on Ice. Joining her are a list of amazing singers, dancers and actors bringing constant energy to the stage.

Soul star Mice Paris blew me away with her vocals and singing experience on the stage her voice is effortless! It’s really tough to pin don the best performances because they all blend and bounce off each other, Yes that includes literally. Making each scene exciting and energetic.
The show is based on the smash hit 1980 film and brings to stage the life of students in New York trying to excel in performing arts. All of them, with individual talents but fighting for the same cause…Fame. The show followed the highs and lows of schools, including some life long lessons they’ll take with them forever. And we go along with them on the road.

What to expect? Lots of laughs, a love story and some tears. Exactly what you would think of being at school would be. The show itself, however, differs from those movies you may have seen. Different songs, both as brilliant and catchy. But of course, it has the smash hits in there for you to sing along.
Selladoor prdocutsion have done another wondeful production worthy of a sell out show. To grab your tickets until the 13th April see here.
