Falkirk is home to the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel and only a few hours away from the North East.
Scotland is always a good place to get away and has so much to offer. Beautiful outdoors, history and the people. We are very lucky to have it so near.

The impressive Scottish manor is set upon 44 acres and only 30 minutes away from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. My recent trip took us here to explore the cocktail masterclass and food. The award-winning AA rosette restaurant. you can check this out here.
But the hotel has so much more to offer than that.

Macdonald Inchyra Hotel: The Spa
The hotel has recently had an investment and refurbishment and this can bee seen in the new modern spa. The spa s popular for the locals offering spa days and swimming classes too.
The spa is part of the Vital Health and Wellbeing suite which offers state of the art facilities. They have a dedicated spin studio and well as different thermal zones in the swim area.

The spa has a large pool and sunbeds to relax around. There is also the tropical shower, steam and sauna around the pool. To gain access to the pool you have to go through the sunroom which allows you to absorb the sun through the roof. There are also heated sun loungers to relax on too!
Aside from the access to the pool is the private spa which has a spa relaxation room and the treatment rooms. We did not experience however the gym was way busier than the spa when we went. But that’s OK because we were there to relax.
Hotel Rooms
The hotel has 4 different room types available including disabled access too.

We stayed in the Super Delux King room which was more than big enough for two. The hotel has lots of rooms and is a popular place for business meetings. Our room was ideal for that. With a King size bed, a separate room space with sofa and desk to work on it provided lots of space. If you were there to work or even for a couple of days it will be very comfortable.

The bathrooms are new and have a fab walk-in shower. With this room comes luxury toiletries from Elemis. It gets better with robes, slippers and a Nespresso machine too!
The rooms and the hotel have a Scottish theme throughout and are very traditional with modern touches in the bathrooms and spa. Our stay was very comfortable and we slept very well.
We took a trip to The Kelpies and to Linlithgow Palace while were up there. there is so much more to explore and I cannot wait to head up to Scotland Again.
The Hotel has events and special offers on regular, check them out here.

What a gorgeous place! You’re so lucky to have enjoyed all this luxury.
This looks like such a great, but cosy, place to go! I’m always on the lookout for new places to visit, especially spa retreats! Thanks for sharing and allowing me another place to add to my list for the future.
