Every year in time for Black Friday, The Ethical Superstore launches its feel-good initiative. Back for the fifth year, the North East Ethical Superstore with Newcastle West End Food Bank.
Ethical Superstore Food Bank Friday
Their Food Bank Friday is the kick start to a week of discounts and donations. For every order they receive OVER £30, they vouch to pledge one item to the Newcastle Food Bank. So not only will you be doing good by shopping ethically, you will be contributing to the donations.
The offer will be running from November 25th until Monday the 2nd of December.
This is one of many different initiatives that the Ethical Superstore have taken part in. So far this year they have raised £33.000 for charity.
Here’s the great news! In addition to the donations, customers can also save 20% off EVERYTHING during the campaign.
Black Friday is a huge success for shoppers, so why not shop guilt-free, grab some bargains just in time for Christmas. I’ve put together my top picks of perfect stocking fillers that you can get in the campaign.
For Animal lovers
The Ethical Superstore offers a range of things for animal lovers. They have a whole section for animals from food to toys. However, when it comes to Christmas gifts. I like to think outside of the box.
Adopt an animal. You can choose from 8 animals to adopt. By doing this you are supporting the people’s trust for endangered species and it comes in a lovely gift box. For every gift bought approx 10% of its RRP goes towards the charity. This should put a smile on anyone’s face!
In addition to this there are lots of calendars to choose from and every Christmas I seem to buy someone a calendar. And the site has one for everyone! Including goat lovers!
The gift of relaxing
When I think of relaxing, I think of Lavender. For total relaxation, lavender bath milk is the perfect gift. In the dark, cold nights there is nothing better than a hot soothing bath. The brand focuses on holistic health and is sold in over 50 different countries. There are lots more products to choose from on the site however Lavander is the perfect ingredient to relax to.
There is not a single person I know, aside from myself. That doesn’t like tea. This gift is perfect for the ethical tea lover and comes in a lovely tin for keepsake. The Lonon Tea company supports a charity Cafedirect Producer’s Foundation.
Ethically Sourced Food and Drink
Near Christmas time, who doesn’t love food and drink? With more of a focus now than ever of cruelty-free products and packaging. Ethical Superstore is the perfect place to shop. As well as Christmas gift or just gifts, you can also shop on the site all year round.
They have an amazing selection of chocolates that support charities around the world. and why not treat yourself to nice chocolate for once. As well as that why not top up the fridge with beautiful bottles of organic ginger beer too. The site has lots of flavours and I LOVE the Belvior range. I always feel like they are extra special drinks to have in to indulge on.
So they are my top picks for the perfect stocking fillers and all under the price of £20.00. Why not browse the site and see what other things are the perfect gift for someone or why not treat yourself!
