What to expect

Small town folk, amazing songs and bake off!

The shows follows Jenna, a expert pie maker trapped in an unhappy marriage and looking for a life change. New people, opportunities arise and offer a new “recipe” for success but Jenna has to look within before she starts her journey.

Having seen Lucie Jones in Legally Blonde, you expect an amazing voice and professionalism and she has come a long way since her X factor days. Joining her is Busted star Matt Willis.

Matt plays the Doctor and Love interest of Jenna and adds comedy and laughter to show. He is no stranger to the stage having played in shows such as Wicked and and Flashdance. He is a great addiction to the show for this year’s tour and a total heartthrob.

Another famous face is you’re a fan of the soaps is Emmerdale star Sandra Marvin. She plays Becky, a friend of Jenna’s from the diner and she is a powerhouse! She will have you laughing the whole way through and brings the diva to the show. Another sidekick is Evelyn Hoskins who’s side relationship is hilarious and heart-warming in all the nerdy kind of ways.

The show does a marvellous job of bringing serious heart-breaking conversations to the table while keeping it light hearted at times and funny. The cast is a small intimate cast allowing you to really fall in love with each one . I guarantee you will shed a tear of two.

The audience loved the first show at Sunderland and the standing ovation was roaring to cheers at the end! W must see show for 2022!
