Tyne Theatre and Opera house are back on stage with this year’s panto, Sleeping Beauty.
The Tyne Theatre is one of the oldest most beautiful Theatres in the North East and my favourite for panto. Every year the same classic actors return to play a classic story for the panto season.
This Year Enchanted Entertainment brings up Sleeping Beauty, which is running all the way until 3rd of January 2022.

Tickets prices start at £14 to £25. That’s a fab price for, in my opinion the best Panto in the North East.
Sponsored by Metro Radio and Specsavers this years panto is like no other they have had before. Plus, they have 54 different times you and go and see it!
The Cast welcomes back the trio of Charlie Richmond playing Jester, But you might remember him as the usual Buttons.

The one the kids all fall in love with and that laughs at his own jokes! His sidekick and the best dame in town is Lewis Denny Plays alongside him as Sleeping Beauty’s nanny. Then this year welcomes the return of Matt Pagan as the prince. Part of the winning group Collabro in Britain’s Got Talent , Matt brings the dashing looks, charm and humour too!
This year’s panto was a first for me. The first 3D show I’ve been to! Specsavers provide a free pair of 3D glasses for parts of the show that come to life! It really makes the show stand apart from others and the kids just loved it! Adults too!

Another huge shout out goes to the guest Evil Queen Sarah Annakin. The trained actress and singer really shows her talent and plays the perfect baddy. Her singing was absolutely faultless. Never thought I’d say I liked a baddy but she is brilliant!
Sleeping Beauty is a favourite amongst the kids so remember to get your tickets and don’t miss out this Christmas!
